Sunshine, tulips, jazz music, and delicious cuisine are a few of Kimberly’s favorite things. She absolutely treasures family time with her husband and daughter and, in addition to volunteering at church and her daughter’s school, she enjoys writing. After meeting women on their journey to motherhood and friends asking her to encourage their friends struggling with infertility, not only did Kimberly want to write her story to inspire future moms-to-be, she had to write it. She learned on her seven-year journey to becoming a mother that you can make a deliberate decision to choose faith regardless of your circumstances (see Hebrews 11:1, NKJV). Her daughter is a gift! And in Kimberly’s thankfulness and gratitude, she is passionate about encouraging women who feel as she once felt to fight for their fertility, in faith. Wherever you may be on your fertility journey, SEVEN YEARS TO SYMONE will inspire you to not lose hope.
One month later I turned forty. I thought about my age and had a sobering moment. I realized that I was eighteen years old when my mom was forty. Yet, here I was forty years old and still not a mom. That was a tough reality, but I could not allow that to render me hopeless. I still desired to become a mom and held onto my faith.
